15b9ae5436 Refactor: Use typed functions for blend file data reading
This makes the read and write API functions match more closely, and adds
asserts to check that the data size is as expected.

There are still a few places remaining that use BLO_read_data_address
and similar generic functions, these should eventually be replaced as well.

0157fede80 Anim: don't include handles when calculating FCurve bounds in Graph Editor
On heavy scenes, the function `get_graph_keyframe_extents`
takes up a considerable amount of the time (~50%) it takes to draw the Graph Editor.
This function is called to set the `View2D` extents which makes the scrollbars work properly.
I'd argue that level of precision isn't needed just to display scrollbars.
Passing the flag as `false` speeds up the drawing code by 22%.

a96f1208cc Fix #97202: Channels of animation editors disappearing when applying filters
The issue is that when applying filters, the list of channels shrink, but the `View2D` isn't updated accordingly.
When you move the viewport, the channels would jump back into view but not before.

The total height of the channel stack is computed every frame,
and the issue is fixed by calling the `UI_view2d_curRect_clamp_y` after that.

Since this has to be done before `UI_view2d_view_ortho` is called, I had to extract
the height calculations into the caller function.
I thought about making a generic function for all 3 editors but they were too different
to meaningfully do that.

I removed the fix that stopped the channels going off screen when using the cursor to scroll,
since the new logic already does that.

Note: while the report only mentions the Dope Sheet, this fix is applied to
the Graph Editor and NLA editor as well since they had the same issues. This PR fixes them all.

Also fixes #46649

5baef63a20 BKE ID remap: Refactor: Remove C API around CPP IDRemapper.
The ID remapper code was already largely defined in a CPP struct
(IDRemapper). Make this an actual class, and remove the C API wrapper
around.

This makes the code cleaner, easier to follow, and easier to extend or
modify in the future.

83dbbf9aec Fix #117572: Top vertical scrollbar tool not working properly
Remove ugly/fragile special case in `view2d_masks()` that would clamp
the scrollbar-masks by the scrubbing UI. It's now possible to pass
custom scrollbar-masks to `View2D` via `UI_view2d_scrollers_draw()`. So
use this instead, making region code control its own masks, rather than
relying on special case handling in generic `View2D` code.

Also update comment in `scroller_activate_init()` to make the implicit
relationship explicit.

Alternative to, and based on the investigation in !117685.

b5c89822ac RNA: return PointerRNA from rna create functions
There are a couple of functions that create rna pointers. For example
`RNA_main_pointer_create` and `RNA_pointer_create`. Currently, those
take an output parameter `r_ptr` as last argument. This patch changes
it so that the functions actually return a` PointerRNA` instead of using
the output parameters.

This has a few benefits:
* Output parameters should only be used when there is an actual benefit.
  Otherwise, one should default to returning the value.
* It's simpler to use the API in the large majority of cases (note that this
  patch reduces the number of lines of code).
* It allows the `PointerRNA` to be const on the call-site, if that is desired.

No performance regression has been measured in production files.
If one of these functions happened to be called in a hot loop where
there is a regression, the solution should be to use an inline function
there which allows the compiler to optimize it even better.

11fe57cab8 Animation: Move Snapping to Scene
Part of #91973

Moving the snapping code for the
* Graph Editor
* Action Editor
* and NLA editor

into the common system that lives on the scene.
This includes the Magnet icon for turning
snapping on and off.

The old settings translate to the new in the following way:
* `Frame Step` -> `Frame`
* `Second Step` -> `Second`
* `Nearest Frame` -> `Frame` + `Absolute Time Snap`
* `Nearest Second` -> `Second` + `Absolute Time Snap`
* `Nearest Marker` -> `Nearest Marker`

Since this moves the location of the snapping settings
from the editor to the scene, it changes the behavior.
Previously each editor could have different snapping
settings, where now they are all synced.

b53c7a804a Readfile: Replace the 'lib_link' specific code by generic usage of foreach_id.
The `lib_link` callback cannot always be fully replaced/removed, as in
some case it is also doing some validation checks, or data editing based
on the result of lib_linking internal ID pointers.

The callback has been renamed for that purpose, from `read_lib` to
`read_after_liblink`. It is now called after all ID pointers have been
fully lib-linked for the current ID, but still before the call to
`do_versions_after_linking`.

This change should not have any behavioral effect. Although in theory
the side-effect of this commit (to split lib linking itself, and the
validation/further processing code) into two completely separated steps
could have some effects, in practice none are expected, and tests did
not show any changes in behavior either..

Part of implementing #105134: Removal of readfile's lib_link & expand code.

e955c94ed3 License Headers: Set copyright to "Blender Authors", add AUTHORS
Listing the "Blender Foundation" as copyright holder implied the Blender
Foundation holds copyright to files which may include work from many
developers.

While keeping copyright on headers makes sense for isolated libraries,
Blender's own code may be refactored or moved between files in a way
that makes the per file copyright holders less meaningful.

Copyright references to the "Blender Foundation" have been replaced with
"Blender Authors", with the exception of `./extern/` since these this
contains libraries which are more isolated, any changed to license
headers there can be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Some directories in `./intern/` have also been excluded:

- `./intern/cycles/` it's own `AUTHORS` file is planned.
- `./intern/opensubdiv/`.

An "AUTHORS" file has been added, using the chromium projects authors
file as a template.

d973355b3a Cleanup: reduce amount of math-related includes
Using ClangBuildAnalyzer on the whole Blender build, it was pointing
out that BLI_math.h is the heaviest "header hub" (i.e. non tiny file
that is included a lot).

However, there's very little (actually zero) source files in Blender
that need "all the math" (base, colors, vectors, matrices,
quaternions, intersection, interpolation, statistics, solvers and
time). A common use case is source files needing just vectors, or
just vectors & matrices, or just colors etc. Actually, 181 files
were including the whole math thing without needing it at all.

This change removes BLI_math.h completely, and instead in all the
places that need it, includes BLI_math_vector.h or BLI_math_color.h
and so on.

Change from that:
- BLI_math_color.h was included 1399 times -> now 408 (took 114.0sec
  to parse -> now 36.3sec)
- BLI_simd.h 1403 -> 418 (109.7sec -> 34.9sec).

Full rebuild of Blender (Apple M1, Xcode, RelWithDebInfo) is not
affected much (342sec -> 334sec). Most of benefit would be when
someone's changing BLI_simd.h or BLI_math_color.h or similar files,
that now there's 3x fewer files result in a recompile.
