72a8851a95 UI Code Quality: Rename UI_ACTIVE button flag to UI_HOVER
Calling this state "active" has been confusing for a long time for a number of reasons:
- It's not clear that this is essentially a mouse hover state.
- Easy to confuse with "select" state (`UI_SELECT`), both terms are vague.
- Buttons can be "inactive" (`UI_BUT_INACTIVE`) which is totally related to this "active" state.
- Button handling can consider a button as active that doesn't have this flag set (e.g. during text input).
- Active and selected are well established terms in Blender, but they mean a different thing there.

8362563949 UI: show recently selected items at the top of searches
The goal is to make the search faster to use by dynamically adapting to the user.
This can be achieved using the simple but common approach of showing recently
selected items at the top. Note, that the "matching score" between the query and
each search item still has precedence when determining the order. So the last used
item is only at the top, if there is no other search item that matches the query better.

Besides making the search generally faster to use, my hope is that this can also
reduce the need for manually weighting search items in some places. This is
because while the ordering might not be perfect the first time, it will always be
once the user selected the element that should be at the top once.

This patch includes:
* Support for taking recent searches into account in string searching.
* Keep track of a global list of recent searches.
* Store recent searches on disk similar to recently opened files.
* A new setting in the user preferences that allows disabling the functionality.
This can be used if deterministic key strokes are required, e.g. for automated tests.

In the future this could be improved in different ways:
* Add some kind of separator in the search list to indicate which elements are at
the top because they have been used recently.
* Store the recent search items per search, instead of in a global list. This way
it could adapt to the user even better.

e955c94ed3 License Headers: Set copyright to "Blender Authors", add AUTHORS
Listing the "Blender Foundation" as copyright holder implied the Blender
Foundation holds copyright to files which may include work from many
developers.

While keeping copyright on headers makes sense for isolated libraries,
Blender's own code may be refactored or moved between files in a way
that makes the per file copyright holders less meaningful.

Copyright references to the "Blender Foundation" have been replaced with
"Blender Authors", with the exception of `./extern/` since these this
contains libraries which are more isolated, any changed to license
headers there can be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Some directories in `./intern/` have also been excluded:

- `./intern/cycles/` it's own `AUTHORS` file is planned.
- `./intern/opensubdiv/`.

An "AUTHORS" file has been added, using the chromium projects authors
file as a template.

d973355b3a Cleanup: reduce amount of math-related includes
Using ClangBuildAnalyzer on the whole Blender build, it was pointing
out that BLI_math.h is the heaviest "header hub" (i.e. non tiny file
that is included a lot).

However, there's very little (actually zero) source files in Blender
that need "all the math" (base, colors, vectors, matrices,
quaternions, intersection, interpolation, statistics, solvers and
time). A common use case is source files needing just vectors, or
just vectors & matrices, or just colors etc. Actually, 181 files
were including the whole math thing without needing it at all.

This change removes BLI_math.h completely, and instead in all the
places that need it, includes BLI_math_vector.h or BLI_math_color.h
and so on.

Change from that:
- BLI_math_color.h was included 1399 times -> now 408 (took 114.0sec
  to parse -> now 36.3sec)
- BLI_simd.h 1403 -> 418 (109.7sec -> 34.9sec).

Full rebuild of Blender (Apple M1, Xcode, RelWithDebInfo) is not
affected much (342sec -> 334sec). Most of benefit would be when
someone's changing BLI_simd.h or BLI_math_color.h or similar files,
that now there's 3x fewer files result in a recompile.

c1bc70b711 Cleanup: Add a copyright notice to files and use SPDX format
A lot of files were missing copyright field in the header and
the Blender Foundation contributed to them in a sense of bug
fixing and general maintenance.

This change makes it explicit that those files are at least
partially copyrighted by the Blender Foundation.

Note that this does not make it so the Blender Foundation is
the only holder of the copyright in those files, and developers
who do not have a signed contract with the foundation still
hold the copyright as well.

Another aspect of this change is using SPDX format for the
header. We already used it for the license specification,
and now we state it for the copyright as well, following the
FAQ:

a12a8a71bb Remove "All Rights Reserved" from Blender Foundation copyright code
The goal is to solve confusion of the "All rights reserved" for licensing
code under an open-source license.

The phrase "All rights reserved" comes from a historical convention that
required this phrase for the copyright protection to apply. This convention
is no longer relevant.

However, even though the phrase has no meaning in establishing the copyright
it has not lost meaning in terms of licensing.

This change makes it so code under the Blender Foundation copyright does
not use "all rights reserved". This is also how the GPL license itself
states how to apply it to the source code:

<one line to give the program's name and a brief idea of what it does.>
    Copyright (C) <year> <name of author>

This program is free software ...

This change does not change copyright notice in cases when the copyright
is dual (BF and an author), or just an author of the code. It also does
mot change copyright which is inherited from NaN Holding BV as it needs
some further investigation about what is the proper way to handle it.

d204830107 UI: Make uiBut safe for non-trivial construction
No user-visible changes expected.

Essentially, this makes it possible to use C++ types like `std::function`
inside `uiBut`. This has plenty of benefits, for example this should help
significantly reducing unsafe `void *` use (since a `std::function` can hold
arbitrary data while preserving types).

----

I wanted to use a non-trivially-constructible C++ type (`std::function`) inside
`uiBut`. But this would mean we can't use `MEM_cnew()` like allocation anymore.

Rather than writing worse code, allow non-trivial construction for `uiBut`.
Member-initializing all members is annoying since there are so many, but rather
safe than sorry. As we use more C++ types (e.g. convert callbacks to use
`std::function`), this should become less since they initialize properly on
default construction.

Also use proper C++ inheritance for `uiBut` subtypes, the old way to allocate
based on size isn't working anymore.

bdb5754147 Nodes: Add node group assets to search menus
Currently node group assets are supported, but using them by dragging
from the asset browser is cumbersome. This patch adds all node group
assets from user asset libraries and the current file libraries to the
add node search menu and the link drag search menu.

Node groups added through the search will have their "options" hidden,
meaning the data-block selector is displayed. This helps keep the UI
clean, and the selector shouldn't be necessary anyway.

To make that possible, metadata like the node tree type and its inputs
and outputs has to be saved in the file. This requires re-saving the
files that contain the assets with the patch applied.

The node add search operator is moved from Python to C++ to ease
development and allow more flexibility. It supports a tooltip that
gives the description of assets.

Currently the node groups are added with the asset system's existing
"Append & Reuse" behavior. It's likely that linking should be possible
in the future too, but for now the idea is to use the more foolproof
option that doesn't create dependencies between files.

Because loading assets can potentially take a long time, the search
menu refreshes its items as new assets are loaded. However, changing
the search field is necessary to see the update.

257b4d138c Fix T93446: search box active result does not reset when typing
Whenever the user edits the query in a search box, the active (highlighted)
result resets to the first. Previously, it would remain at the last
highlighted result, jumping around as the results update.

This is better than the previous behavior. If a user highlights a choice either
on purpose or by accidental mouse movement and continues to type, it is likely
that they are not looking for the currently highlighted choice, so setting it
to the top search result is more useful.

0d73113452 UI Code Quality: Resolve frankenstein bit-flag usage for widget drawing
Previously we would pass button state and draw information to widget
draw callbacks in a rather hacky way. Some specific flags from
`uiBut.flag` were masked out, so their bits could be reused for also
passing `uiBut.drawflag` in the same int. Instead this commit introduces
a state-info struct that can properly hold all the relevant data.

This has the advantage that it's now easier to introduce new state data
that needs to be accessible in the widget callbacks. Since we are
running out of button flags, we plan to reorganize button flags, and
split them up into multiple bitfields. In the widget drawing code, this
would have been a hassle earlier.

Also had to add a new widget callback to draw blocks as widgets (popup
backgrounds), since that would pass block flags where we would usually
pass button flags. This wasn't nice, now it's separated more clearly.

b8bad3549d Fix T93519: handle prefix names in autocompletes
Autocomplete entires keep track of the length of the prefix
in `name_prefix_offset`. However, the name matching logic
was comparing the string including the prefix which resulted
in tab-completion not working (when the user didn't also type
in the prefix, typically two whitespaces).

This is fixed by passing in a char pointer after the end of
the prefix.

Additionally, some searchbox logic is moved. Previously,
`ui_searchbox_apply` would clear the entry which would mean
that `ui_searchbox_find_index` would never succeed. Now the
search box is only cleared if no match was found.
