f442c86197 Depsgraph: improve type safety when getting evaluated or original ID
The goal here is to avoid having to cast to and from `ID` when getting the
evaluated or original ID using the depsgraph API, which is often verbose and not
type safe. To solve this, there are now `DEG_get_original` and
`DEG_get_evaluated` methods which are templated on the type and use a new
`is_ID_v` static type check to make sure it's only used with valid types.

This allows removing quite some verbosity on all the call sites. I also removed
`DEG_get_original_object`, because that does not have to be a special case
anymore.

dd168a35c5 Refactor: Replace MEM_cnew with a type-aware template version of MEM_callocN.
The general idea is to keep the 'old', C-style MEM_callocN signature, and slowly
replace most of its usages with the new, C++-style type-safer template version.

* `MEM_cnew<T>` allocation version is renamed to `MEM_callocN<T>`.
* `MEM_cnew_array<T>` allocation version is renamed to `MEM_calloc_arrayN<T>`.
* `MEM_cnew<T>` duplicate version is renamed to `MEM_dupallocN<T>`.

Similar templates type-safe version of `MEM_mallocN` will be added soon
as well.

Following discussions in !134452.

NOTE: For now static type checking in `MEM_callocN` and related are slightly
different for Windows MSVC. This compiler seems to consider structs using the
`DNA_DEFINE_CXX_METHODS` macro as non-trivial (likely because their default
copy constructors are deleted). So using checks on trivially
constructible/destructible instead on this compiler/system.

87a4c0d3a8 Refactor: Make Library.runtime an allocated pointer.
Move `Library.runtime` to be a pointer, move the related
`LibraryRuntime` struct to `BKE_library.hh`. Similar to e.g.
Mesh.runtime, that pointer is expected to always be valid, and is
allocated at readtime or when creating a new Library ID.

Related smaller changes:
* Write code now uses standard ID writing codepath for Library IDs too.
  * Runtime pointer is reset to nullptr before writing.
* Looking up a library by its absolute path is now handled through a
dedicated utils, `search_filepath_abs`, instead of using
  `BLI_findstring`.

619d9e4e01 Fix #98559: support applying Geometry Nodes through multires modifier
Before, it was only possible to apply modifiers through a multires modifier if
they were deform-only. The Geometry Nodes modifier is of course not deform-only.
However, often one can build a node setup, that only deforms and does nothing
else.

To make it possible to apply the Geometry Nodes modifier in such cases the
following things had to be done:
* Update `BKE_modifier_deform_verts` to work with modifiers that implement
  `modify_geometry_set` instead of `deform_verts`.
* Add error handling for the case when `modify_geometry_set` does more than just
  deformation.
* Allow the Geometry Nodes modifier to be applied through a multi-res modifier.

Two new utility types (`ArrayState` and `MeshTopologyState`) have been
introduced to allow for efficient and accurate checking whether the topology has
been modified. In common cases, they can detect that the topology has not been
changed in constant time, but they fall back to linear time checking if it's not
immediately obvious that the topology has not been changed.

This works with the example files from #98559 and #97603.

efd2e762f7 Refactor: Core, give the IDWALK_CB_… enum an explicit name
Give the `IDWALK_CB_…` enum an explicit name:
`LibraryForeachIDCallbackFlag`. This way the flags are type-safe, and
it's known where values come from. This is much preferred (at least by
me) to just having `int flags`.

Uses of `0` have been replaced with `IDWALK_CB_NOP` as that has the same
value and is of the right type.

One invalid use of `IDWALK_NOP` was detected by this change, and is
replaced by `IDWALK_CB_NOP`.

This change might be incomplete; I gave the enum a name, fixed the
compiler errors, and then also updated assignments like `int cb_flag =
cb_data->cb_flag`. I might have missed some assignments to `int` though.

No functional changes.

3ef748789d Refactor: Core, give the IDWALK_… enums an explicit name
Two commits that basically do the same thing for two `enum`s: give
them a name.

- the `IDWALK_…` enum → `LibraryForeachIDFlag`.
- the `IDWALK_CB_…` enum → `LibraryForeachIDCallbackFlag`.

This way the flags are type-safe, and it's known where values come
from. This is much preferred (at least by me) to just having `int
flags`.

Uses of `0` have been replaced with `IDWALK_NOP` and `IDWALK_CB_NOP`,
as those have the same value and are of the right type.

One invalid use of `IDWALK_NOP` was detected by this change, and is
replaced by `IDWALK_CB_NOP`. And another one in the opposite
direction.

This change might be incomplete; I gave the enum a name, fixed the
compiler errors, and then also updated assignments like `int cb_flag =
cb_data->cb_flag`. I might have missed some assignments to `int`
though.

No functional changes.

----------

I intend to land this PR as its two separate commits. I just put them in the same PR so the buildbot can handle them in one go, and we don't have a stack of highly relatled PRs.

In the future this could also apply to the `IDWALK_RET_…` enum. This one I left out, though, because a proper cleanup there would also have to include their ambiguity on whether they are bitflags (like the enums in this PR) or not. Their values and the code in `BKE_lib_query_foreachid_process()` implies they are bitflags, but in practice they are never or'ed together and just used as discrete values.

0f42f277b7 Grease Pencil: Remove legacy modifiers
This removes the legacy Grease Pencil modifiers from the code.
These should have already been inaccessible from the UI and hidden from
the user. The modifiers have been reimplemented for the new GPv3
data structure.

On top of the modifier code, some other related things have been
removed as well:
 * Operators related to the legacy modifiers.
 * Keymaps for the legacy modifier operators.
 * Some bits of code that used modifier functions.

Some code has to be kept, because it is still used:
 * The core line art code, which is used by the new line art modifier. It's
    moved to `modifiers/lineart`.
 * The DNA structs for the legacy modifiers. They are still needed for
    conversion.
 * A few kernel functions for the modifiers are kept (also for conversion).

ada367a0e9 Fix #119589: use-after-free when accessing not-fully-evaluated object geometry
While the evaluated result is not well defined, we expect Blender to not crash
when there are dependency cycles.

The evaluation of one object often takes the evaluated geometry of another
object into account. This works fine if the other object is already fully
evaluated. However, if there is a dependency cycle, the other object may not be
evaluated already. Currently, we have no way to check for this and were mostly
just relying on luck that the other objects geometry is in some valid state
(even if it's not the fully evaluated geometry).

This patch adds the ability to explicitly check if an objects geometry is fully
evaluated already, so that it can be accessed by other objects. If there are not
dependency cycles, this should always be true. If not, it may be false
sometimes, and in this case the other objects geometry should be ignored. The
same also applies to the object transforms and the geometry of a collection.

For that, new functions are added in `DEG_depsgraph_query.hh`. Those should be
used whenever accessing another objects or collections object during depsgraph
evaluation. More similar functions may be added in the future.
```
bool DEG_object_geometry_is_evaluated(const Object &object);
bool DEG_object_transform_is_evaluated(const Object &object);
bool DEG_collection_geometry_is_evaluated(const Collection &collection);
```

To determine if the these components are fully evaluated, a reference to the
corresponding depsgraph is needed. A possible solution to that is to pass the
depsgraph through the call stack to these functions. While possible, there are a
couple of annoyances. For one, the parameter would need to be added in many new
places. I don't have an exact number, but it's like 50 or so. Another
complication is that under some circumstances, multiple depsgraphs may have to
be passed around, for example when evaluating node tools (also see
`GeoNodesOperatorDepsgraphs`).

To simplify the patch and other code in the future, a different route is taken
where the depsgraph pointer is added to `ID_Runtime`, making it readily
accessible similar to the `ID.orig_id`. The depsgraph pointer is set in the same
place where the `orig_id` is set.

As a nice side benefit, this also improves the situation in simple cases like
having two cubes with a boolean modifier and they union each other.

b195014e05 Cleanup: Clarify modifier depends_on_normals handling
Because normals are calcualted lazily for all cases "depends_on_normals"
except for BMesh original normals, this is mostly unnecessary. It's actually
probably not necessary at all, because in practice there is always a separate
positions array stored in `EditMeshData` during mesh edit mode modifier
evaluation, bringing us back to the lazy calculation. But anyway, removing
the usage for topology-changing modifiers and modifiers which don't
accept BMesh as input anyway simplifies things.

1497005054 Modifiers: add unique modifier identifiers
This adds a new `ModifierData.persistent_uid` integer property with the following properties:
* It's unique within the object.
* Match between the original and evaluated object.
* Stable across Blender sessions.
* Stable across renames and reorderings of modifiers.

Potential use-cases:
* Everywhere where we currently use the name as identifier. For example,
  `ModifierComputeContext` and `ModifierViewerPathElem`.
* Can be used as part of a key in `IDCacheKey` to support caches that stay
  in-tact across undo steps.
* Can be stored in the `SpaceNode` to identify the modifier whose geometry node
tree is currently pinned (this could use the name currently, but that hasn't been
  implemented yet).

This new identifier has some overlap with `ModifierData.session_uid`, but there
are some differences:
* `session_uid` is unique within the entire Blender session (except for duplicates
between the original and evaluated data blocks).
* `session_uid` is not stable across Blender sessions.

Especially due to the first difference, it's not immediately obvious that the new
`persistent_uid` can fulfill all use-cases of the existing `session_uid`. Nevertheless,
this seems likely and will be cleaned up separately.

Unfortunately, there is not a single place where modifiers are added to objects currently.
Therefore, there are quite a few places that need to ensure valid identifiers. I tried to catch
all the places, but it's hard to be sure. Therefore, I added an assert in `object_copy_data`
that checks if all identifiers are valid. This way, we should be notified relatively quickly if
issues are caused by invalid identifiers.

311ca3e6af Core: rename Session UUID to Session UID
`UUID` generally stands for "universally unique identifier". The session identifier that
we use is neither universally unique, nor does it follow the standard. Therefor, the term
"session uuid" is confusing and should be replaced.

In #116888 we briefly talked about a better name and ended up with "session uid".
The reason for "uid" instead of "id" is that the latter is a very overloaded term in Blender
already.

This patch changes all uses of "uuid" to "uid" where it's used in the context of a
"session uid". It's not always trivial to see whether a specific mention of "uuid" refers
to an actual uuid or something else. Therefore, I might have missed some renames.
I can't think of an automated way to differentiate the case.

BMesh also uses the term "uuid" sometimes in a the wrong context (e.g. `UUIDFaceStepItem`)
but there it also does not mean "session uid", so it's *not* changed by this patch.

- Messages inside `UI_but_disable()` are no longer translated
