d8623da305 == Sequencer ==
This adds movieclip input support to the sequencer, thereby making
undistorted and stabilized footage available without a seperate render step.

Also: removes some old cruft code from the sequencer:

* new_tstripdata wasn't used anymore
* StripElems were allocated for SCENE strips on full length, wasting memory
Added a comment, that hopefully makes things a little bit clearer:
StripElems are *only* usefull for MOVIE + IMAGE strips for all other strip
types one can set this pointer to NULL. (If that should cause otherwise
problems, then the code that doesn't check for NULL is to blame!)

f11a6d3a84 Adds support for utf paths on Windows.
Not all file formats/calls are supported yet. It will be expended.

Please from now on use BLI_fopen, BLI_* for file manipulations.
For non-windows systems BLI_fopen just calls fopen.
For Windows, the utf-8 string is translated to utf-16 string in order to call UTF version of the function.

709ca0ece9 "Fix" for [#30098] Particle rotation wrong / explode modifier
- The main problem was that in order to be accurate all particle
rotations have to be calculated incrementally so the only working
solution is to store rotations to the point cache (previously
this was only done for dynamic rotations). This can nearly double
the point cache size so it's not ideal to have this as a default
as in many cases you don't care about particle rotations.
- Particle rotation panel now has a new "enable" checkbox that
enables rotation calculations and the storing of rotations to
  point cache.
- Old files will have rotations enabled via do_versions so that in
the worst case old files will only get bigger point caches, but no
  sudden loss of particle rotations.

91580c0929 swap BMLoopCol r/b color, requires subversion bump.
old mesh MCol 'r' was blue, 'b' was red, but theres no reason to keep this for bmesh with MLoopCol.

Loading old files works, saving legacy format works too.

What wont work is loading a file after this revision and loading it in an older revision since the bmesh merge.
(it wont crash but the blue and red will be swapped on vertex color layers).

b8f15a1dd3 Revert changes BMesh changes MDisp loading in readfile.c
These changes originated in r35321, which transfered MDisps to a
different memory allocator; this is no long used, however, so
post-merge it was just making an identical copy.

a80b7d6129 Fixing several issues with keyingsets:
*Add a new idname to keyingsets, keeping name as label-only (using same string for both made lookup fail when using i18n other than english, as it tried to compare an untranslated static string id against a translated RNA name). Also adding a description string (can be helpful with custom keyingsets, imho).
*Fixed a few other bugs related to that area (namely, you can’t deselect current keyingset from the shift-ctrl-alt-I popup menu, and insert/delete key ops were using a rather strange way to get chosen custom keyingset…).
*Fixed UI code so that it always uses (RNA) enum, and simplified menu-creation code.

2eb29e4788 A number of improvements for the file output node(s).
1) Old CMP_NODE_OUTPUT_FILE and CMP_NODE_OUTPUT_MULTI_FILE have been merged,
only CMP_NODE_OUTPUT_FILE remains. All functions renamed accordingly.

2) do_versions code for converting single-file output nodes into multi-file
output nodes. If a Z buffer input is used, the node is made into a multilayer
exr with two inputs. (see below). Also re-identifies multi-file output nodes
with the CMP_NODE_OUTPUT_FILE type.

3) "Global" format is stored in node now. By default this overrides any
per-socket settings.

4) Multilayer EXR output implemented. When M.EXR format is selected for node
format, all socket format details are ignored. Socket names are used for layer
names.

5) Input buffer types are used as-is when possible, i.e. stored as B/W, RGB or
RGBA. In regular file output the format dictates the number of actual channels,
so the CompBuf is typechecked to the right type first. For multilayer EXR the
number of channels is more flexible, so an input buffer will store only the
channels it actually uses.

6) The editor socket type is updated from linked sockets as an indicator of the
actual data written to files. This may not be totally accurate for regular file
output though, due to restrictions of format setting.

3bae60d0c9 Adds a new node type for saving multiple image files from a single node.
Unlike the existing file output node this node has an arbitrary number of
possible input slots. It has a base path string that can be set to a general
base folder. Every input socket then uses its name as an extension of the base
path for file organization. This can include further subfolders on top of the
base path. Example:

Base path: '/home/user/myproject'
Input 1: 'Compo'
Input 2: 'Diffuse/'
Input 3: 'details/Normals'

would create output files
in /home/user/myproject: Compo0001.png, Compo0002.png, ...
in /home/user/myproject/Diffuse: 0001.png, 0002.png, ... (no filename base
given)
in /home/user/myproject/details: Normals0001.png, Normals0002.png, ...

Most settings for the node can be found in the sidebar (NKEY). New input sockets
can be added with the "Add Input" button. There is a list of input sockets and
below that the details for each socket can be changed, including the sub-path
and filename. Sockets can be removed here as well. By default each socket uses
the render settings file output format, but each can use its own format if
necessary.

To my knowledge this is the first node making use of such dynamic sockets in
trunk. So this is also a design test, other nodes might use this in the future.

Adding operator buttons on top of a node is a bit unwieldy atm, because all node
operators generally work on selected and/or active node(s). The operator button
would therefore either have to make sure the node is activated before the
operator is called (block callback maybe?) OR it has to store the node name
(risky, weak reference). For now it is only used in the sidebar, where only the
active node's buttons are displayed.

Also adds a new struct_type value to bNodeSocket, in order to distinguish
different socket types with the same data type (file inputs are SOCK_RGBA color
sockets). Would be nicer to use data type only for actual data evaluation, but
used in too many places, this works ok for now.

818e19713a fix [#30266] B-Mesh: Issue with Weight Painting
thanks to Nicholas Bishop for finding the cause of the problem.

don't tesselate on load, this means me->mface will be NULL by default.

we may need to have this set if existing uses of this array are not resolved before release - so add a define USE_TESSFACE_DEFAULT, to change this easily.

this is a rather indirect fix - need to take care here.

93526b4c72 readfile update after version/subversion bump
Note, there is no need to leave doversion code outside a version/subversion nest.
e.g. having if version < 262 in a 2.61 file will make the code to double-run.
however this is the same case for the code nested outside the if versions ...
with the advantage of making ahoys/version bumping easier.

Ton himself was unaware of how we were doing this and suggested to get rid of the /* put subversion code here */ practise.
