518bef9ae9 Fix #138378: Grease Pencil: Correct logic of checking render requirement
`DRW_gpencil_engine_needed` only checks whether grease pencil is
excluded in the viewport or whether there's grease pencil ID exists,
this can not handle cases where grease pencil strokes are generated from
other types of object in geometry nodes. Now this function is split into
two `gpencil_engine_needed_viewport` and
`gpencil_excluded` calls to provide more granulated logic for
places that need them.

bf412ed9dd Cycles: Support for custom OSL cameras
This allows users to implement arbitrary camera models using OSL by writing
shaders that take an image position as input and compute ray origin and
direction.

The obvious applications for this are e.g. panorama modes, lens distortion
models and realistic lens simulation, but the possibilities are endless.

Currently, this is only supported on devices with OSL support, so CPU and
OptiX. However, it is independent from the shading model used, so custom
cameras can be used without getting the performance hit of OSL shading.

A few samples are provided as Text Editor templates.

One notable current limitation (in addition to the limited device support)
is that inverse mapping is not supported, so Window texture coordinates and
the Vector pass will not work with custom cameras.

417ffa8f54 Fix #137097: Cycles: No occlusion with Grease Pencil in the viewport
This was caused by missing depth of objects.
The old implementation was relying on the external engine
to provide the correct depth of the objects.
This patch does exactly this.

The downside is that, if overlays are present, the prepass
will be also drawn by the overlay engine.

92968c23fe Refactor: DRW: Make DrawEngine a virtual class
This removes the old `DrawEngineType` and use the new `DrawEngine`
virtual class instead.

This removes a lot of boilerplate functions that were only there for
legacy reason.

To this end, some engines that were based on static functions have been
refactored into `Instance` classes. This was particularly cumbersome
for the Grease pencil engine which needed some more refactoring.

The `Engine` class that is in each namespace is a workaround to isolate
the internal implementation (i.e. the `Instance`) to the engine
modules. Without this, the whole engine is getting included in each
compile unit that includes the `Instance` class. Eventually, if we get
rid of these intricate dependencies, we could remove the `Engine` class.

94c7c84bcd Refactor: DRW: Simplify the DRWContext classes and methods
This refactor part of `draw_manager_c.cc` to make it more understandable
and less bug prone.

- Splits the context handing to `draw_gpu_context.cc`
- Rename `draw_manager_c.cc` to `draw_context.cc`
- Merge `DRWContextState` into `DRWContext`
- Merge lots of static functions into `DRWContext` to avoid global access
- Deduplicate code between entry point functions
- Move context init logic to `DRWContext` constructor
- Move resource init logic to `DRWContext::acquire_data`
- Move extraction `TaskGraph` out of `DRWContext`
- Reduce / centralize complexity of enabling draw engines
- Reduce the amount of `drw_get` calls
- Remove unused code

f7e4fbc636 DRW: Add different mutex for GPUShader critical section
This removes the use of `system_gpu_context_mutex`
which was making render command submission threadsafe.

The only issue is the concurent usage of GPUShader objects.
To fix this, we only guard the submission section which
are the only parts that uses the GPUShaders.

Removing this critical section all together requires some changes
in the GPUShader. See #135406

920e709069 Refactor: Make header files more clangd and clang-tidy friendly
When using clangd or running clang-tidy on headers there are
currently many errors. These are noisy in IDEs, make auto fixes
impossible, and break features like code completion, refactoring
and navigation.

This makes source/blender headers work by themselves, which is
generally the goal anyway. But #includes and forward declarations
were often incomplete.

* Add #includes and forward declarations
* Add IWYU pragma: export in a few places
* Remove some unused #includes (but there are many more)
* Tweak ShaderCreateInfo macros to work better with clangd

Some types of headers still have errors, these could be fixed or
worked around with more investigation. Mostly preprocessor
template headers like NOD_static_types.h.

Note that that disabling WITH_UNITY_BUILD is required for clangd to
work properly, otherwise compile_commands.json does not contain
the information for the relevant source files.

For more details see the developer docs:

e955c94ed3 License Headers: Set copyright to "Blender Authors", add AUTHORS
Listing the "Blender Foundation" as copyright holder implied the Blender
Foundation holds copyright to files which may include work from many
developers.

While keeping copyright on headers makes sense for isolated libraries,
Blender's own code may be refactored or moved between files in a way
that makes the per file copyright holders less meaningful.

Copyright references to the "Blender Foundation" have been replaced with
"Blender Authors", with the exception of `./extern/` since these this
contains libraries which are more isolated, any changed to license
headers there can be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Some directories in `./intern/` have also been excluded:

- `./intern/cycles/` it's own `AUTHORS` file is planned.
- `./intern/opensubdiv/`.

An "AUTHORS" file has been added, using the chromium projects authors
file as a template.

c1bc70b711 Cleanup: Add a copyright notice to files and use SPDX format
A lot of files were missing copyright field in the header and
the Blender Foundation contributed to them in a sense of bug
fixing and general maintenance.

This change makes it explicit that those files are at least
partially copyrighted by the Blender Foundation.

Note that this does not make it so the Blender Foundation is
the only holder of the copyright in those files, and developers
who do not have a signed contract with the foundation still
hold the copyright as well.

Another aspect of this change is using SPDX format for the
header. We already used it for the license specification,
and now we state it for the copyright as well, following the
FAQ:

cd494087c1 Fix crash when switching back from render preview.
Issue is that external engine uses the gpu info. but overwrote the
instance data. The draw manager would then detect instance data and
required the engine type to have a instance free callback.

The solution is to save some space in the engine data to hold an empty
and unused instance_data attribute to comply with `ViewportEngineData`
struct.

Jeroen Bakker
b069218a55 DrawManager: Engine Instance Data.
In the original design draw engines had to copy with a limitation that
they were not allowed to reuse complex data structures between drawing
calls. Data that could be reused were limited to:
- GPUFramebuffers
- GPUTextures
- Memory that could be removed calling MEM_freeN (storage list)
- DRWPass

This is fine when the storage list contains arrays or structs but when
more complex data types (vectors, maps) etc wasn't possible.

This patch adds instance_data that can be reused between drawing calls.
The instance_data is controlled by the draw engine and doesn't need to
be limited as described above.

When an engines stores instance_data it must implement the
`DrawEngineType.instance_free` callback to free the data.

The patch originates from eevee rewrite. But was added to master as the
image engine rewrite also has a need for it.
