This commit implements most features needed for simple text editing.
Active text strip can be edited in preview by pressing tab key, which
enabled text editing mode. With this mode active, outline matches text
boundary box and cursor is drawn.
Cursor can be moved with usual keys. Pressing shift starts selection.
Selection and navigation works when text is scaled or rotated. Mirrored
text is not supported in this PR. it can be done, but the text is
unreadable that way, so I kept it simple.
Multi line text is supported. Pressing return key starts new line.
Copy/paste operator uses OS copy paste buffer, so text from other apps
can be pasted.
Text is still limited to 512 characters. Text string property still
exists in side panel and is limited to single line. Individual
characters can not be styled in different way like in 3D viewport, but
the code is mostly ready for such feature.

The removal of the UNDO flag to prevent adding undo steps when using the
`paint.sample_color` operator results in the "Sample Merged" option
being inaccessible to users without them adding a keymap of their own.
This commit makes the following changes:
* For Texture Paint using the default blender keymap, the Shift-Ctrl-X
keybind is assigned to this operator with the merged option set to True
* For Texture Paint, using the industry compatible keymap, the Shift-I
keybind is assigned to this operator with the merged option set to
True
This parameter is only relevant for 3D Texture Painting so it is not
added to the other modes.
For all other `paint.sample_color` entries in both the keymap and in
some menus, the `merge` option is explicitly set to False.

This is implemented as macro `sequencer.preview_duplicate_move`. New
macro is needed, because different transform operator is called than in
`sequencer.duplicate_move`
Duplicate operator was modified to handle overlap and to delete sound
strips after duplication.
When strip is duplicated in preview, it will be moved to nearest free
channel above original strip.

Similar to toolbar, when spacebar is mapped to `play`, use `shift +
spacebar` for asset-shelf popup. When spacebar mapped `toolbar`, invoke
asset shelf in paint modes. When `spacebar=search`, do not map any key
for asset-shelf popup

In Blender 4.2 in Grease Pencil draw mode it was possible to
erase strokes using box and lasso gestures.
Under the hood, these were just using the selection operators
that had special deletion handling if the object was in draw mode.
Rather than hacking this into the selection operations, this adds
two new operators:
* `grease_pencil.erase_lasso`
* `grease_pencil.erase_box`
When using one of the erase operations with auto-key, the previous
keyframe will be duplicated to the current frame (for the drawings
that are affected by the eraser).
They are mapped to the same shortcuts than the selection
operators in Blender 4.2.
* Lasso erase: `Ctrl`+`Alt`+`RMB`.
* Box erase: `B`.
This is part of #130518.

When in bone selection mode of during weight painting,
pressing ALT+H would unhide faces instead of bones.
Removing the keymap entry fixes that, while still allowing
unhiding of faces in face mask mode.

Compositor: UI: remove snapping to nodes.
Snapping nodes to other nodes behaves in a very unpredictable way, which makes most snapping options useless.
The patch removes the following:
- Snapping options `Node X`, `Node Y` and `Node XY`
- Menu `Snap Node Element`
- Menu `Snap Target`
New behavior:
- Activating `Snap` always acts as 'Snap to Grid'

- Modifications for marker selection to use the same behavior as
key selection in the dopesheet.
- Animation editors now mask out events for the timeline (when there are markers).
- Resolve logical conflicts with the Dope sheet keymap.
- Add Shift Drag & Ctrl Drag for box select & de-select.

d2a802d3c6 got overzealous by removing the "tweak" property which was
actually necessary to differentiate box select on click-drag vs. box
select on B. Fix by restoring the tweak property for everything but
preview keymap items (where it doesn't actually do anything).
Main reason this happened is because the original description was a bit
too cryptic, so update it to be clearer.

This implements the "Select Linked Pick" operator, by default exposed
in the keymap with `L` and `Shift-L`. This mirrors the existing operator
in legacy-curve edit mode and mesh edit mode.
The implementation is pretty simple, we just find the curve closest to
the mouse and change the selection of the points in that curve.

Previously the `W` menu was only available for brush tools (brush and
eraser), it should be available to all tools, thus putting the key map
registering function into `km_grease_pencil_paint_mode`.

This makes it so that the `Ctrl J` keybind will run the join operator.
As there are only 2 modes and the other one already has a keybind it does not make sense to open the menu.
This matches Blender 4.2.

All sculpt and paint modes should bring up the brush selector asset
shelf popup on Shift+Spacebar. For grease pencil vertex paint mode the
shortcut was missing. I think it was added earlier, but only for the
grease pencil v2 keymap, the v3 one got merged later only.
PR #128051 made some improvements to code by cleaning up properties and
simplifying logic.
However, the default tool in most spaces is box select. By switching to
box select default, there should be more front-facing consistency across
spaces while still retaining near-identical behavior.
This patch would fix the small bug listed in #128671 while keeping the
simplified code benefits from #128051.
Also:
- Move selection keymap items up in the Sequencer (Global) keymap so it
is more visible (similar to Node Editor ordering).
- Split `side_of_frame` property for ctrl press keymap item into a
separate keymap item on ctrl click for both LCS and RCS to avoid
clashing with ctrl+drag for box selects in RCS.

In essential brush assets, the "Crease" brush was replaced with two
crease brushes ("Crease Polish" and "Crease Sharp"), but the keymap
wasnt respecting that.
So to resolve now point Shift+C to "Crease Polish" (seems closer to what
the former "Crease" brush was.

Regression in [0] which didn't account for entering paths in the
file selector which would create paths without confirming,
warning that the "confirm" property was missing.
Entering `*.*` would create `_._` for e.g in the users CWD for example.

The `paint.brush_colors_flip` option was not exposed in the vertex color
panel.
This adds the toggle in the panel and also adds the keymap `X` to flip
the colors.
The radial controls to set the brush size were not working in sculpt and
vertex paint mode.
This was because of a collision with the `cyclical_set` operator in edit mode.
The issue was that the poll function for the edit mode keymaps also
passed in sculpt and vertex paint mode.
To solve this, add a keymap for these common selection operators and
separate them from the general edit mode keymap.

The paint, sculpt, and vertex-paint modes already have separate context
menu classes from GPv2. The GPv2 classes will be removed, this is just
a small refactor to prevent this change from getting lost in a big
cleanup PR. No functional changes.

This should free up references to GPv2 types and operators and should
in turn make their removal easier.
- Remove keymaps for GPv2 operators from `blender_default.py` and
`industry_compatible_data.py`
- Remove keymap poll callback assignment from `gpencil_ops.cc`
- Remove keymap handler registration from `area.cc:ed_default_handlers`

Remove the box select tool from the timeline to simplify selection
logic, avoid confusion for users, and make maintaining the code
easier in the future. It also brings the selection system closer
to other industry-standard NLEs.
It also fixes an issue caused by d2091b4b1.

Implements scrolling support for tree-views, as well as changing the size of the
scroll-able tree-view. This is important to be able to place them in many places
in the UI, where a compact layout is preferred over an every expanding one
(causing following contents to be scrolled out of view). UI-lists would use
scrolling and resizing to ensure this, now tree-views are on par.
Enables scrolling and resizing for:
- Bone collection UI (`UILayout.template_bone_collection_tree()`)
- Grease Pencil layer UI (`UILayout.template_grease_pencil_layer_tree()`)
- Light link collection UI (`UILayout.template_light_linking_collection()`)
- UI to define a node tree interface (`UILayout.template_node_tree_interface()`)
These are all cases where compact UIs make more sense than expanding ones.
Internally this is enabled by calling the `set_default_rows()` method of the
tree-view, although the API might change still. It shouldn't be quite simple to
implement this for grid-views too if necessary, or other potential view types.
Although I'd like to do some smaller code quality improvements still, this
feature is important for some other modules (e.g. grease pencil module for the
layers UI in grease pencil v3), so I decided to prioritize merging this.

Supporting selection operators and overlays in sculpt mode is necessary
to support masking operations.
This enables selection drawing in the overlay in sculpt mode,
and ensures all the necessary operators (pick, lasso, circle, box)
handle the differences in modes correctly.
The selection code so far was expecting object mode, so the `vc->obedit`
object was used without further checks. Now the selection code can be
called outside of edit mode, in which case the `vc->obact` object must
be used instead. Similarly edit mode and sculpt mode have separate
`selectmode` flags, so the correct mode property must be used from the
tool settings depending on the object mode. These changes require some
refactoring of unrelated selection code.

This is a variation of the modal "Interpolate" operator, where a series
of keyframes is generated according in stead of a single keyframe.
The behavior should be the same as the GPv2 operator.
Much of the code is shared between the "Interpolate" and "Interpolate
Sequence" operators now (utility functions section at the top).

This rename the `Cutter` tool's name, code and icon to `Trim`.
The legacy Grease Pencil code is unchanged.
This was discussed in the 2024-07-30 Grease Pencil Module Meeting.
Reasons for the change:
- Match the `Trim Stroke Ends` setting on brushes.
- Match the `stroke_trim` operator.
- Name is more clear and more commonly used.
- Frees the name for a future boolean cutting tool.
