This would change the image type in image_save_post, which would make the logic in BKE_image_acquire/release_renderresult mismatched. Also consistently call BKE_image_release_renderresult when the render result is null, rather than only doing it half the time. Pull Request: https://projects.blender.org/blender/blender/pulls/133503
