Campbell Barton 7e86f188fb Cleanup: variable naming in vfont_curve.cc ...

UNICODE code points were named "ascii" or "cha",
use the term "charcode" as used elsewhere in BLF and FreeType.

Also use char32_t internally and add a utility function to apply the
small-caps flag.
