The order of collections in the light linking collection is important
as it is used for tie-breaking when the same object is reachable from
multiple linked collections with different light linking state.
This commit utilizes the generic tree view reordering operations to
allow insertion of elements to a specific location and to re-order
existing objects and collections in the light linking collection.
It is possible to re-order both collections and objects, even tough
re-ordering objects does not really make a difference for the light
linking behavior. It is not possible to place an object before
collections.

Enable visual keying of bones that are influenced by an IK constraint.
This wasn't possible before, as the visual keying system only checked
constraints on the bone itself, and not whether the bone was part of an
IK chain.
This commit introduces a new `bPoseChannel::constflag` value
`PCHAN_INFLUENCED_BY_IK` that is set whenever the pose bone is part of
an IK chain.
The `pchan->constflag` field is computed during depsgraph evaluation. If
the depsgraph is active, it is now also written back to the original
pchan, so that it can be used in the "should visual keying be used"
function.
Fixes: #76791 "Different results when keyframing visual transforms and
applying transforms manually on IK constraint". Note that visually
keying does *not* copy the visual pose to the current pose. Furthermore,
when visually keying only part of the IK chain, the result of
re-evaluating the IK constraint (for example by moving the scene forward
and then backward by one frame) may still produce a different result, as
the IK chain now has a different start orientation.
Note that commit explicitly does not cover Spline IK constraints. They
can introduce heavy shear, especially with the default settings, which
cannot be represented by keys on loc/rot/scale.
For historical reference: 876cfc837e
introduces the 'use visual keying' preference option, where Blender
automatically chooses whether or not to use visual keying. This is why
there is a function at all that determines whether to use visual keying
or not.
Rename the `bPoseChannel::flag` `PCHAN_HAS_TARGET` to `PCHAN_HAS_NO_TARGET`
as that is actually the meaning of the flag (in the majority of the code).
Since the flag was so confusingly named, there were some mixups in the
armature overlay drawing code as well, which have been fixed now too.
When removing all constraints from pose bones, just reset the `constflag`
field to `0`, instead of clearing out specific flags. It was already
missing a flag that should have been cleared.
Effectively no functional changes, just a nice cleanup.
Just some reordering to simplify things, and to put the cheapest checks
first.
No functional changes, except for the addition of a `BLI_assert()` to
check cases in which this function shouldn't be called anyway.
Add a checkbox to node group inputs to force inputs to be single values
and not accept varying fields. While this could also be done more
automatically, and it could be argued that requiring the flexibility is
helpful for users who want to use attributes, there are cases where the
field inferencing doesn't work, or the "use attribute" option is just
unhelpful. People use workarounds with primitive nodes to get the same
behavior anyway.

In preparation of https://projects.blender.org/blender/blender/pulls/112535, we need to make sure all layer tree manipulations are in functions on the `GreasePencil` struct so we can keep the `CustomData` for layers in sync with the layer tree.
This PR makes sure that all the functions that change the layer tree in any way are `protected` on the `LayerGroup` class. The `GreasePencil` struct is declared `friend` with `LayerGroup`.
We also cleanup and remove a lot of code duplication between layers and layer groups and try to write functions in a generic way for `TreeNode` (both layers and layer groups are tree nodes).

The goal is to make the search faster to use by dynamically adapting to the user.
This can be achieved using the simple but common approach of showing recently
selected items at the top. Note, that the "matching score" between the query and
each search item still has precedence when determining the order. So the last used
item is only at the top, if there is no other search item that matches the query better.
Besides making the search generally faster to use, my hope is that this can also
reduce the need for manually weighting search items in some places. This is
because while the ordering might not be perfect the first time, it will always be
once the user selected the element that should be at the top once.
This patch includes:
* Support for taking recent searches into account in string searching.
* Keep track of a global list of recent searches.
* Store recent searches on disk similar to recently opened files.
* A new setting in the user preferences that allows disabling the functionality.
This can be used if deterministic key strokes are required, e.g. for automated tests.
In the future this could be improved in different ways:
* Add some kind of separator in the search list to indicate which elements are at
the top because they have been used recently.
* Store the recent search items per search, instead of in a global list. This way
it could adapt to the user even better.

The issue was that `event.utf8_buf` is not null-terminated.
In debug builds, it's explicitly filled with `0xff` which let to
the garbage characters. Now check for the size of the first
valid utf8 char and only copy that.

Use the same icon as in the asset browser "unassigned" item for
unassigned node group assets exposed in the modifier or node
add menus, helping to make the connection to the asset browser.
The downside is potentially drawing unnecessary attention to these
categories, but ideally they won't exist for most users anyway (since
the assets should be in proper catalogs).
This simplifies running built-in IO tests with:
ctest -R bf_io_
Also use "bf_io_" prefix for the libraries since it was already used
by some and it's a useful hint the libraries are used for IO.
After discussion with module members, it was agreed that "Unassigned"
was better because the word is already used in the asset browser, and
because it sounds more natural.
This change makes it so the list interface in the properties panels looks
closer to things like shape keys, vertex groups and so on: there are two
buttons to add selected objects to the collection and remove active item
from the collection, as well as the "extra" drop down menu.
The add operator adds selected objects to the light linking collection
using the Include policy. For the light linking it means that the objects
are added as receivers that receive the light, and for the shadow linking
it means that objects are added as blockers which cast shadow from the
light.
The communication of the active list element is done via context property
similar to how it was done before. The difference is that these properties
are set on a parent of the list layout, which makes it so they are inherited
by the layout hierarchy needed to place the Remove button.

Part of #107742.
There used to be a small margin between items since the layout feels a
bit crammed otherwise. But this meant the mouse could be between items,
with no item highlighted or reacting to interactions. This was
especially annoying when dragging over items for drag and drop: in
between items dropping wasn't possible, and the drag-tooltip would
disappear, causing notable flickering during motions over the tree view.
The view item is now slightly enlarged to keep a look that is not too
crammed, and still remove the space between items. Item highlights are
still drawn with a smaller height (matching the normal widget height),
since anything else looked odd to me.
This now feels quite consistent with similar UIs (e.g. File Browser list
view or the Outliner), even though we give the items a bit more space.
The "mask expand" operator from 0083c96125 is not exposed in
the UI and is redundant with the addition of the more general "expand"
operator from 82e7032477. The latter commit even mentioned
that the first mask expand operator was made obsolete.

Padding buttons are supposed to be invisible but were drawn like
regular menu items.
For the most part it doesn't make a difference, since most themes
use transparent menu items anyway.
But e.g. the "White" theme is using opaque menu items, which
would causes the padding button to overlap at the corner when
the roundness of the menu background is very high.

Inlined sockets in the same vertical space are no longer supported.
This removes `input_output` socket declarations, the inlining feature in
node drawing, and the `Both` option for node group interface sockets.
Versioning code splits existing node group sockets into individual
sockets again. Unfortunately some links may get lost in versioning files
using the feature, because of an unnoticed bug: Socket identifiers have
to be unique in the node group items list but inlined input/output
sockets have the same identifier. This still works for most situations
because uniqueness is only required within input/output lists. Creating
proper unique identifiers will discard any link from the previous output
socket. This cannot easily be fixed without `after_linking` versioning
code, which should be avoided.

Without this it was necessary to convert pasted text into spaces
for them to display properly.
Since tabs are a valid part of a string, it's incorrect to assume
tabs can always be expanded to spaces.
Pasted text and console output now display tabs properly,
the tab still uses spaces for indenting though.
Adds the ability to set text cursor position in the Console editor
by clicking with the mouse and many other expected operations such as
cut, select all & deselect on text entry.

Shortening names based on context is something we do in the user
interface throughout Blender. This is a simple automatic mechanism to do
it for node panels as well, which significantly improves the Principled
BSDF layout.
We want the properties and sockets to be identifiable outside of the
panel contextcontent, for example in the animation editor, API docs, or
when exposing a single socket as a group input. So making the actual
name shorter is not an option.

Instead of adding the default "Bones" bone collection to every Armature
data-block, only add it for Armatures that are added in the 3D View with
Shift+A > Armature.
This simplifies things like importers, which otherwise would have needed
to remove that default collection before creating the imported ones.
Additionally, this also ensures that the one bone you get by default is
actually assigned to the default bone collection.
When clearing the parent of an object that has keys,
the object position jumped back to world space immediately.
This didn't allow for keying the current position
and was inconsistent with setting a parent.
This PR fixes it by not instantly re-evaluating the animation.

I am just finishing it up.
This is a new operator for the Graph Editor.
It shifts the value of the keys in time,
while keeping the actual key positions in the same place.
It supports wrapping, so when offsetting beyond the range
of the F-Curve it will take values from the other end,
but offset in y-value so there is no jump.
This works best with dense key data.

Rather than always snapping the region size to the closest multiple of
the row height, remember the amount of rows displayed after the user
resized the region, and try to preserve that. This gives a lot more
predictable behavior, especially when the "Show Names" option is toggled
on and off, and the region resizes in response. With the old method the
amount of visible rows could change multiple times while toggling.
This also enables us to clamp the amount of rows (e.g. while the preview
size is increased and the region becomes too large for the area; or,
when a catalog tab is activated with fewer assets and thus fewer rows)
but still restore the amount of rows the user chose earlier, as soon as
possible.

This adds an operator `graph.select_key_handles` to the graph editor
that changes the selection of the different parts of a bezier keyframe. It
operates on all keys that are either themselves selected or have either of
their handles selected, and changes whether the key itself and/or its handles
are selected.
The operator has three options:
- `left_handle_action`
- `right_handle_action`
- `key_action`
Each of which can be set to:
- Select
- Deselect
- Keep (do nothing)

With 9d0907560a, button tooltips would now often display the label even though
it's already visible in the button itself.
This fix brings back the old logic for displaying the label, but it's still
possible to override the label via the callback introduced in the earlier
commit.
