889751b0c5 Grease Pencil: Add Convert Curve Type operator
Adds a new operator in Grease Pencil edit mode to convert between curve
types. This acts as a replacment for the `Set Curve Type` operator as
the new operator better aligns with previous workflows and artist
expectations. Specifically using a threshold to adjust how well the
resulting curves fit to the original.

It can be found in the `Stroke` > `Convert Type` menu.

This operator aims at keeping visual fidelity between the curves. When
converting to a non-poly curve type, there's a `threshold` parameter
that dictates how closley the shapes will match (a value of zero meaning
an almost perfect match, and higher values will result in less accuracy
but lower control point count).

The conversion to `Catmull-Rom` does not do an actual curve fitting.
For now, this will resample the curves and then do an adaptive
simplification of the line (using the threshold parameter)
to simulate a curve fitting.

The `Set Curve Type` operator is no longer exposed in the
`Stroke` menu.

This also adds a new `geometry::fit_curves` function.

The function will fit a selection of curves to bézier curves. The
selected curves are treated as if they were poly curves.

The `thresholds` virtual array is the error threshold distance
for each curve that the fit should be within. The size of the virtual
array is assumed to have the same size as the total number of
 input curves.

The `corners` virtual array allows specific input points to be treated
as sharp corners. The resulting bezier curve will have this point and
the handles will be set to "free".

There are two fitting methods:
* **Split**: Uses a least squares solver to find the control
                     points (faster, but less accurate).
* **Refit**: Iteratively removes knots with the least error starting
with a dense curve (slower, more accurate fit).

d332411b21 Grease Pencil: Fill Tool: Draw fill guides
This implements the "boundary strokes" features (from 4.2 LTS).
To make it a bit more clear, the feature is now called "fill guides".
It uses the same `Alt`+`LMB` shortcut.

Fill guides are denoted by a `".is_fill_guide"` attribute set to `true`.
Otherwise they behave as normal strokes.

There is the `Clean Up` > `Remove Fill Guides` operator to remove
the strokes.

This also adds an option to the Fill tool to automatically remove fill
guides once a fill has been created.

a7d2b7850e Grease Pencil: Add initial support for Node Tools
This adds inital Grease Pencil support for node tools.

Node tools work in `Object Mode`, `Edit Mode`,`Sculpt Mode`,
and `Draw Mode`.

While Grease Pencil has many editing tools, including editing
multiple frames at the same time, for now, node tools only
allow editing the current frame.

Currently, the idea is that node tools can do arbitrary changes
to the drawings, but cannot do changes to the existing layer tree, e.g.
changing the order of layers, removing a layer or groups, etc.

All the node tool specific nodes like `Selection` and `Set Selection`
are adapted to work with Grease Pencil. In `Draw Mode`, we currently
interpret everything as selected.
The `Active Element` node has a `Layer` mode that provides the
index of the active layer (if there is one).

When `Auto-Key` is used, a new keyframe is created on the
current frame.
Locked/invisible layers cannot be edited with node tools.

937358d58e Point Cloud: Enable object type without experimental option
In the past couple months, the basic operations needed for a new object
type were implemented, as well as basic edit mode tools. With that, the
object type is in a good enough state that it doesn't need to be hidden
behind an experimental option. That also resolves some inconsistency,
because the object type is already created by geometry nodes and used by
importers; it's weird that you can't add it manually as original data.

This also removes the "bounds" drawing flag for the object created from
the add menu. It's unnecessary now and there was even a TODO comment.

001b8912ff Cleanup: Consolidate sculpt brush capability checks into BKE_brush.hh
Prior to this commit, whether or not a brush was capable of using
certain options in Sculpt mode and whether or not these properties would
be shown to the user was spread across a number of files and
inconsistently applied.

This commit moves most of these checks to the bke::brush namespace so
that we have a single source of truth for these checks.

In total this commit:
* Changes all BrushCapabilitiesSculpt methods to use the equivalent
  bke::brush function
* Removes brush type macros
* Renames BKE_brush_supports_secondary_color to fit the new pattern
* Refactors inverted logic for the `direction` property

63e6f53ba0 Modifiers: new Visual Geometry to Objects operator
This adds a new `Visual Geometry to Objects` operator which is added to the
`Apply` menu.

It creates new objects from the evaluated geometry of the active object. Other
than e.g. applying modifiers, this operator does keep all generated data and
creates new objects and collections for instances. It does have some
similarities to `Make Instances Real` with the main difference that it doesn't
actually realize instances, i.e. instanced geometry is still shared between all
objects using it.

It does intentionally not replace the original object, because the semantics of
that aren't all that obvious. It's especially tricky when the object was
referenced by other objects. Instance attributes are not preserved currently.

9e0c8a41cd Object Mode: conversion no longer depends on the active object
Conversion was only possible if the active object was editable &
selected, this complicated overriding the operator from Python
since it wasn't enough to override the selection & active-object.

Now it's possible to use bpy.ops.object.convert() from Python
overriding the selected_editable_objects only.

For users the difference isn't so significant:

- Having an active object is no longer required.

- It's possible there are no objects to operate on,
as previously the active object was used to check at least one
object could be converted, although this check wasn't fool-proof
as it didn't check the objects data-type.

Resolves #100664.

971f3e0699 Fix #132826: Grease Pencil: Missing "Paste by Layer" option
The Grease Pencil `Clipboard` only stored a single `CurvesGeometry`. This meant
that the `Paste by Layer` operation (from 4.2 LTS) couldn't be implemented.

This PR adds an `Array` of `ClipboardLayer`s to the `Clipboard`. Each layer stores
the name of the Grease Pencil layer that it was copied from and the `CurvesGeometry`.

The `grease_pencil.paste` operator has a new property `type` (`ACTIVE` or `LAYER`)
that decides how to paste the strokes.

Using the `ACTIVE` type, the strokes of all the `ClipboardLayer`s get merged and then
pasted to the active layer.
Using the `LAYER` type, we first try to find layers to paste the `ClipboardLayer`s into.
We just look for matching layer names. If no matching layer is found, the strokes are
pasted into the active layer instead.

This should be consistent with how Grease Pencil used to behave in 4.2. LTS.

358a0479e8 Anim: create pose assets to different libraries
Similar to how brush assets are created and managed this
PR allows to export pose assets into a different library.
Because of this there is a limitation to this where each
asset is stored in a separate blend file.
This may be lifted in the future as there are planned changes in
the design phase: #122061

### Create Asset

Now available in the 3D viewport in the "Pose" menu: "Create Pose Asset".
The button in the Dope Sheet will now call this new operator as well.

Clicking either of those will open a popup in which you can:

* Choose the name of the asset, which library and catalog it goes into.
* Clicking "Create" will create a pose asset on disk in the given library.

It is possible to create files into an outside library or add it in the current file.
The latter option does a lot less since it basically just creates the
action and tags it as an asset.

If no Asset Shelf **AND** no Asset Browser is visible anywhere in Blender,
the Asset Shelf will be shown on the 3D viewport from which
the operator was called.

### Adjust Pose Asset

Right clicking a pose asset that has been created in the way described
before will have options to overwrite it.
Only the active object will be considered for updating a pose asset

Available Options (the latter 3 under the "Modify Pose Asset" submenu):
* Adjust Pose Asset: From the selected bones, update ONLY channels that
are also present in the asset. This is the default.
* Replace: Will completely replace the data in the Pose Asset from
the current selection
* Add: Adds the current selection to the Pose Asset. Any already existing
channels have their values updated
* Remove: Remove selected bones from the pose asset

Currently this refreshes the thumbnail. In the case of custom
thumbnails it might not be something want

### Deleting an existing Pose Asset

Right click on a Pose Asset and hit "Delete Pose Asset". Works in the shelf
and in the asset library. Doing so will pop up a confirmation dialog,
if confirming, the asset is gone forever. Deleting a local asset is basically the
same as clearing the asset. This is a bit confusing because you get
two options that basically do the same thing sometimes,
but "Delete" works in other cases as well.
I currently don't see a way around that.

a9c6889eb4 Fix #133453: Canvas button cannot be enabled
This fixes an issue where the Canvas button is always disabled when
trying to use the experimental feature, Sculpt Texture Paint.

This bug was caused by the new Asset System since it changed how paint
tools work. Before, the UI would check the current tool being used and
determine if the Canvas button should be activated. With the new Asset
System, painting is done with modular brushes instead of tools, so
previous methods of checking tool properties have stopped working.

This is fixed by activating the Canvas button based on the properties
of the current brush. If the brush's type is either Paint or Smear,
then the Canvas button is activated.
