3aaf076e8d Fix compilation error with oneAPI disabled and GPU Embree enabled
Happens with systems which do not provide GOLD linker: the linking state
would failing with some missing symbols and print about missing libsycl.so.6.

Seems that BFD linker expects to resolve all symbols, even the indirectly
used ones. This is somewhat counter-intuitive and is not how LLD, GOLD,
or MOLD worls.

The current state of the CMakeLists.txt does request the cycles_bvh to be
linked against SYCL_LIBRARIES. However, the SYCL was only requested to be found
if WITH_CYCLES_DEVICE_ONEAP is true.

Arguably the SYCL_LIBRARIES should only be linked-in into cycles_bvh if
EMBREE_STATIC_LIB, but that does not solve the issue with BFD.

This change makes it so the SYCL is requested to be found if the oneAPI
device is enabled, or if the Embree is detected to require/use SYCL
support.

962331c256 Fix #105555: Cycles: Baking only indirect lighting is broken
The problem here was that when direct light contibutions to baking were
disabled, the kernel just skipped all direct lighting evaluation.

However, at secondary bounces, "direct light" would actually end up
being indirect (since there's an extra bounce along the way), but
we're still skipping it.

Therefore, only apply direct lighting skipping at the first bounce.

4e104d77c7 Fix #108211: Cycles: Correctly split Glass BSDF contributions
So far, each closure in Cycles was either diffuse OR glossy OR
transmissive, and its color and contributions were assigned
to the corresponding direct/indirect/color passes.

However, since Glass is a single closure now, that is no longer enough,
since glass has both a glossy and a transmissive component.

Therefore, this commit adds support for splitting contributions from
the Glass closure between the two types.
For 4.0, we might want to also use this for Principled Hair since it
also technically has both types, but that would be a change from
the existing result so it's not part of 3.6 yet.

a811ff0374 Fix #108560: Light groups do not work with collection instances
With this change, instances of lamps and emissive meshes which do not
have their own light group assigned will use the light group of the
collection instance.
If an object does have a light group assigned, its instances will
continue to use it regardless of the collection instance's light group.

9e83211b8d Fix: Implement shared Metal Command queue to resolve sync bugs
Previously, each GHOST Context instantiated its own Metal device
queue. Commands are only synchronized within a queue, this was the
root cause of a number of flickering issues which had previously
been worked-around with synchronization primitives.

New solution uses a shared queue to simplify dependencies and
alleviate possibility of stalls and bugs when resources are modified
or shared across separate GPU command queues.

4a26f51a55 Cycles: MetalRT: Metal binary archives don't support linked functions
This patch fixes an undefined behaviour where we were trying to use linked functions with binary archives. This isn't supported yet. At best this will fail silently, but this is not guaranteed in future. To fix this we simply disable binary archives if any linked functions are involved. The impact of this is that the `SHADE_SURFACE_RAYTRACE` and `SHADE_SURFACE_MNEE` kernels will fall back to the file system cache when MetalRT is enabled. The file system cache will occasionally be purged due to factors beyond Blender's control.

047ff43ee4 Fix GHOST/Wayland configuring an XDG surface before it was handled

In practice this could lead to glitches resizing windows, although some

2ce7f3ec71 Fix crash on exit under Wayland with multiple windows open
Exiting with multiple overlapping windows (a file selector for e.g.)
reliably crashes.

Closing the windows on exit caused the the keyboard enter handler to be
called with a NULL window surface (wl_surface).

While this doesn't look to be documented anywhere, SDL's code-comments
note this happens when windows have just been closed.
GTK also check surfaces for NULL.

a9358f5274 Fix Blender failing to start in Gnome when X11 isn't available
Only make libdecor a hard-requirement for using Wayland in gnome-shell
when X11 is available, as it's possible to disable Xwayland.

This also fixes window-borders not being used in gnome-shell when

Now it's possible to test Blender under gnome without libdecor by
uninstalling libdecor & running with DISPLAY environment variable
set to an empty string - useful for troubleshooting issues which
could be caused by libdecor.
