GPv2 used the depth buffer at the end of a stroke drawing operation to project points and interpolated between detected values. This does not work in GPv3 because the strokes are added directly to drawings. Depth projection has to happen continuously, updating points between the last depth value and the next when a new hit is recorded. Resolves #125258.
